More about the event mission:

~ COMMUNITY COMPASSION BENEFIT ~

Please join us for a very special evening in Oakland on Saturday February 15th, to honor & celebrate the spirit of Prop 215. This will be the 2nd annual celebration of this day and the final party at EVB. The goal is to bring together OG cannabis brands and trailblazers for one last giant collaborative canna-bash with the fam, while raising hella funds for a great compassion program.

Last year on Feb 15th, Sweetleaf Collective hosted the first "215" event at EVB, to raise awareness & funds for their efforts in getting SB 34 - the compassion bill supported and passed through CA legislation. In early October, Gov. Newsom signed SB 34 into law, protecting cannabis compassion programs. Yay compassion! However, there is, as always more work to be done, and significant resources required. Let's use our collective power (and love of parties;) to help! Together!

~ LAST HURRAH ~

For those who don't know, EVB- the company and venue that has so graciously hosted numerous cannabis events for our community over the past few years- is moving out to a new space on March 1st, making this benefit the final farewell to a truly beloved space. Let's say peace out with well lit banger! ~

We hope that by remembering our roots, and continuing to rally together, we'll also inspire and educate newcomers to the industry. This event is as much for newbies as it is for OG's.

ALL ARE WELCOME HERE.
