Struggling with stress, feeling a bit out of balance, or simply looking to treat yourself? Come and expand your horizons with CBD + Restorative Yoga.
Experience the soothing benefits of CBD oils, tinctures, and salves in partnership with a very chill introspective non-competitive Restorative Yoga practice. Restorative Yoga utilizes five or six poses during the entire workshop, all fully supported by blankets and bolsters, to allow the internal and external muscles to loosen their grip. Body exertion and movement is kept to a minimum, to allow for absorption of CBD tinctures and oils and your own inner healing to commence.
Shannon will describe the interaction of your body’s Endocannabinoid System, and how the same systems and processes are reflected in the yogic philosophy of the Chakras. There will be plenty of space for writing in your journal or silent introspection as suits your need.
CBD + Restorative Yoga designed to open the mind and body, and allow the natural benefits of CBD to promote wellness from within. It’s a body positive experience that welcomes all practitioners. You’ll have time to reflect, sample from a variety of tinctures and oils provided by District Hemp Botanicals, which promotes your natural powers of wellness and healing.
This workshop is intended for anyone who may be curious about managing anxiety, burn out, or stress of any type. Nothing is required other than you. Come as you are, and leave a little more like who you’re meant to be.
About the Teacher:
Shannon was introduced to yoga by her mom as a teenager and later deepened her practice alongside her friends at Virginia Tech. After graduating from college in 2017, Shannon received her 200 RYT from Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico. Shannon creates sweet, introspective, and accessible Vinyasa-style flows filled with heat-building sequences, pranayama, long savasanas, and lovingly-built playlists. She believes that yoga is the best way to heal, grow, and push oneself both physically and emotionally.
As a teacher, Shannon holds a relaxed and nurturing space where yogis can connect deeply to body, mind, and heart. In her classes, expect good vibes, deep stretches, and self-love!
