Before all attention turns towards the catwalk, hemp-based retailers and other sustainable businesses will showcase their products during the pre-show reception. We will be joined by some of the largest hemp-based retailers and other sustainable businesses such as Hemp Traders, Vital Hemp, Urbane Luggage, Hemp Wood and more!!
*If you or anyone you know would like to be an exhibitor, reach out to us for more details.
IHA aims for the first “Sustainable Culture” fashion show to launch a movement for the implementation of hemp textiles to be used throughout the Los Angeles Community College District. This can stand as a model for other institutions of higher education to follow, and to help destigmatize the plant and show its utility and sustainability.
“Sustainable Culture” is more than a fashion show. This is students joining with members of marginalized communities who have endured the effects of systemic racism--whether it be the ‘War on Drugs’ or environmental injustices--and taking a stand against the destruction of our environment by promoting sustainable industries. As inhabitants of this planet, we have a responsibility to be more conscious of the impact our actions have.
Come and connect with mindful individuals, discover new sustainable products and support an industry that is safe for humans, animals and the planet.
We invite you to take a stand.
