07:00 PM - 08:30 PM (PST)
Please join us at our November Monthly Meeting, the virtual edition!
Each month, we will have community members and leaders join us to to keep us informed on the latest cannabis updates, medical cannabis news, local announcements and much more!
THIS MEETING'S AGENDA:
We will hear from the following community members:
Colin Wells, Veterans Walk and Talk
Veteranswalkandtalk is a group of veterans and supporters who have chosen to take charge of their health and wellness. We do this with community, cannabis, and psychedelic modalities. We started in 2016 and have since walked and talked with hundreds of veterans from coast to coast. Cannabis is the great unifier and we have seen it unify veterans and wellness in the most profound ways.
We walk and talk around 3 times a month as well as facilitate one on one peer support walks for our members. We advocate for and participate in the cannabis culture and our group is a mainstay of the grassroots wellness renaissance our country so desperately needs. Educating, enlightening, and shepherding veterans to a community of peers is the single best way to combat the challenges we face today.
You can sign up for our group on our website www.Veteranswalkandtalk.com and please follow our social media @veteranswalkandtalk @veteranswalkandtalksd @veteranswalkandtalksac

About Americans for Safe Access San Diego
Founded in 2003; The mission of Americans for Safe Access San Diego is to ensure safe and legal access to cannabis (marijuana) for therapeutic uses and research.
Americans for Safe Access (ASA) is the largest national member-based organization of patients, medical professionals, scientists and concerned citizens promoting safe and legal access to cannabis for therapeutic use and research. ASA works to overcome political and legal barriers by creating policies that improve access to medical cannabis for patients and researchers through legislation, education, litigation, grassroots actions, advocacy and services for patients and the caregivers. ASA has over 30,000 active members with chapters and affiliates in more than 40 states.
Our successful lobbying, media, and legal campaigns led to positive court precedents, new sentencing standards, more compassionate legislative and administrative polices and procedures, as well as new legislation.
ASA protects the rights of cannabis patients. We are working to change federal policy to meet the immediate needs of patients as well as create long-term strategies for safe access and programs that encourage research.
