The cannabis industry is rapidly growing and understanding the research, intricate science and its medical benefits for patients is essential. Patient care and continual research is a critical component of Tikun Olam, which is why we have developed, the “Tikun Olam Education Symposium”.
The first installment of the Tikun Olam Education Symposium will address specialized cannabis research in autism and cancer as well as discuss issues concerning pain management and inflammation. The one day conference will be comprised of general sessions featuring a series of keynote panels and physicians.
Tikun Olam broke new ground in establishing cannabis treatment procedures. Through attentive care and the gathering of observational data and feedback from their patients, they have amassed one of the world’s largest cannabis treatment databases, with over 20,000 patient records – noting strains used and symptoms treated. Additionally, Tikun Olam utilized this data to further develop the therapeutic effectiveness of their strains and products, as well as an understanding of the cannabis plant through their ongoing commitment to research.
The 2019 symposium will bring together physicians, medical directors, medical students, caregivers and patients. Our keynote speakers will lecture compelling case studies and clinical finds collected through their experience treating patients with cannabis.
