Meet Up

Join us for a conversation presented by the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel legal counsel on how to appeal discipline or denial of a permanent cannabis license.

You’ve been disciplined or denied! Where do you go next? If you’re a California cannabis permanent licensee or applicant dissatisfied with the outcome of your administrative hearing, your first recourse is to the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel (CCAP). An administrative appeal can seem overwhelming and bureaucratic, particularly to smaller licensees. CCAP’s staff attorneys will trim the red tape and guide you through the CCAP administrative appeal process, starting with the moment your administrative hearing is complete. We’ll discuss the paperwork you must file to initiate an appeal, and whether you’ll need an attorney to help you. We’ll cover CCAP’s appeals process, including brief requirements and oral arguments. We’ll explain what factors CCAP will look at in deciding your case, and how it will reach a decision. Finally, we’ll tell you where to go next, if you aren’t satisfied with the outcome of your appeal.

Enter our raffle! Tons of prizes will be raffled away at conclusion of the meeting, so bring cash & get your tickets to get your hands on some cool prizes!
